Claudia Otto

Claudia Otto, owner of the Germany-based law firm COT Legal, is a lawyer specializing in emerging technologies such as AI, digital, and biotechnologies. She is teaching Strategic Foresight, Corporate Governance and Digital Innovation at Fresenius University of Applied Sciences in Germany and has published more than 50 articles. Based on her many years of consulting experience in high-risk industries (e.g. Finance, Pharma, MedTech, BioTech) as well as research in the field of safety and security management, Claudia has developed specialised tools for AI risk assessment to help ensure compliance with the EU AI Act.
